    • Bullet Proof

I leased the 2020 Tundra Limited Crew Cab 4x4 just before Covid hit and my buyout is well below market value. It's an easy decision and I'll be buying it at lease end. It is the older platform (2007-2021) but that is a good thing in my opinion. If you are towing and want to get 300k miles out of your truck, the 5.7 V8 will get you there. The truck handles like a truck. Today's trucks brag about handling, ride quality, technology, amenities, etc. When did a truck stop being a truck? If I want handling and amenities, I'll buy a luxury sports sedan. The 2020 Tundra doesn't have great ride quality; it doesn't handle like a sports sedan. Who cares? It's unbelievably reliable, bullet proof, stays out of the shop and tows more than I would ever need it too. As for the gas mileage, I drive smart and average about 17mpg. Not too bad considering the thirsty V8! If you want a good old fashion bullet proof truck that is simple and effective, the Tundra is the right choice.
    • A great truck

This has been the best truck I have ever driven. 2021 Toyota Tundra SR5 Crew Cab ( Trail Edition package) color is Army Green. The suspension comfortably dampens most bumps and pot holes. The 4 wheel drive works great in the snow. The steering is very lite and easy to turn. In tow/haul, The 5.7L and 6 speed trans pulls my 6000lb trailer with ease. It has a tight turning radius, so backing up my trailer is easy. The interior controls are all easy to reach and intuitive to use. The seats are cloth and comfortable. The interior room in my crew cab is massive. The back seats fold flat to the back wall, leaving a lot of room for hauling things out of the weather. The bed is 5’5” with a dampened tailgate . I have easily hauled plywood and lumber with the tailgate down. I also haul kayaks sticking out out of the bed without a problem. My truck has Toyota safety sense, with that is all of the modern safety features you can imagine. All features, gages and controls are working perfectly. The engine is powerful with some if that V8 engine tone in the cabin. I get an average fuel economy of 15mpg as my daily driver. I also got 18.2 mpg average on a mostly highway trip. I do notice a little body roll/lean when taking turns fast. The halogen headlights and fog lights are good. My truck is stock from Toyota, no changes or additions. This make and model year has impeccable reliability.

This is my 2nd Tundra. I have a 2011 that I still own 251,000 on it a never had an issue. Yea gas mileage is great but tween a few things and I can get 19mpg on both. Do the basic maintenance.
